Very exciting role and company and was always curious about Ashok Soota and Subroto Bagchi as leaders. Learning curve suddenly became very sharp though various encounters. Merger period of AztecSoft and MindTree was an interesting period as well. Tried my hands on traditional IT Services business as well. Had always interacted with CEO, CTO and VP Engineering but it was different experience interacting with CIOs and Procurement guys for business.In these 3 years by now, I learnt about:"Importance of responsibility and accountability.""How to build a brand” – Subroto Bagchi – VC and Gardner – MindTree Ltd."How trust and unity helps in a company’s turbulent period” – Ashok Soota’s exit from MindTree“Importance of Eye for detail and very good articulation of thoughts” – Suhas Mallya – Solution Architect and Technical Pre Sales and a good friend“The biggest international game is not Soccer, not cricket, not golf.. but its $$$$” – integral part of economic meltdown and recession with US and European crises.And learning continued to mid-size IT company with larger role and responsibility.. 2007 - 2009 Manager - Sales - APAC - GlobalLogicComputer Software Responsible for taking GlobalLogic's Software Product Engineering Services to Software Companies in APAC region focusing on Business Development and Strategic Account Management.Learning continued from small Indian IT company to large Indian IT Company to a complete Global company 9 (India, China, Ukraine, Israel, UK offshore teams). Didn't enjoy the feeling but the experience was really helpful for my personal and professional growth. Moved on to work with Business Development team focusing on Pre-sales and Sales towards Persistent's Software Product Engineering Services to Global Software Companies.Learning continued from Banking sector to Software sector. and true start to my IT career..
