RI think Sean Penn is an incredible actor, I really can't say enough for his win in Mystic River. Heart breaking performance really. As Harvey Milk? Well I've read about Harvey Milk and Sean Penn played a great loud Gay person very well but Harvey Milk was so much more then that. Was Sean Penn's performance? No, no it wasn't. He deserves all the praise he can get for his talent, do I think he was the best? I'd say it would go Mickey Rourke, Richard Jenkins, Frank Ingola (sp? you know the Nixon Guy) Brad Pitt and then Sean Penn.Oh, I'm also biased about awards being given to actors who portrayed someone who all ready existed. I just always favor the guys that create an entire character out of nothing rather then having a director say. He was Loud and Gay! Be Loud and Gay Sean! and that's what Sean did. Anybody who played Harvey Milk this year would have gotten the Oscar, though I guess saying that I am glad a competent actor played him...even if it was once again a fabricated hack job on a great American Life.

RSean Penn sucks as an actor, director, producer, etc. but everyone who's a true actor knows that already. But Hollywood today is not the same Hollywood that made it famous. It's now a propaganda tool in full force and by the way Sean Penn is NOT a devote catholic and that's a fact.

RLol, Sean Penn picks his roles, you don't pick him. Your book is nothing currently, it doesn't even have any reviews on Amazon. He won't be interested.

RYeah. I don't have any sympathy for Sean Penn for reasons like this. I think he should realize that he is not as great of an actor as he thinks he is. I'm mean this is Spicolli we are talking about. If you want to see a great dramatic actor, simply watch a Harrison Ford film.

RChampagne socialista. We suffer from them in the UK too - they prefer minorities to the Brits and give them special treatment at the expense of the white British. Their money means they never have to live with the people they so actively promote.

RChaplin was English. Sean Penn, unfortunately, we are stuck with. We're not at war with Venezuela, so he can't be tried for treason for comforting the enemy for being nice to Chavez. The best thing to do is to ignore him.
