- In service as Field Artillery Cannoneer for Alpha and Bravo Battery, 1st Brigade, 12th Regiment, 1st Marine Expeditionary Unit headquartered in Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, provided artillery firepower in support of US Marine ground forces- Participated in eve of Operation Desert Storm advanced reconnaissance mission into Kuwait and subsequent ground artillery campaigns throughout the Persian Gulf War, earning with the unit special recognitions from 2nd Marine Division Command- Decorated with numerous personal citations and meritoriously promoted to leadership ranks
