    Led a team of marketing professionals at the largest flooring distributor in the USA. Responsible for the sourcing decisions and marketing of all products. Led negotiations with all new suppliers and responsible for the product management for all existing products. Accountable for the achieving gross profit and gross margin objectives for the company.

    Global responsibility for pricing and revenue for a range of specialty chemicals. Role included managing Marketing and Technical Service professionals.
    2004 - 2005
    Global responsibility for a range of speciality chemicals and nanoparticles, that are produced in the USA and Europe.
    2003 - 2004
    Activities include corporate strategic planning, long-term operations planning, R&D steering committee, due diligence for business disposals, and international business venture development opportunities.
    2001 - 2003
    Led worldwide Supply Chain improvement projects, using Six Sigma methodology. Led the implementation of SAP's Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO) software, for automating a Collaborative Planning Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) system and for production planning.
    1999 - 2001
    Led the creation of a new world-wide Sales & Operations Planning function that looked after short-term production scheduling and long-term production planning.
    1998 - 1999
    Led the world-wide implementation of the Sales & Distribution module of SAP's ERP software. The team of consultants and employees identified best practices and implemented standardized work processes.
    1993 - 1998
    Role included leading the following functional teams for Europe, Middle East, and Africa: Marketing, Customer Service and Distribution, and Production Planning.
    1991 - 1993
    Worked in the European Chemical practice. Activities included strategic planning, market research, privatization of nationalized companies, and due diligence for acquisitions.
    1989 - 1991
    Marketing for various new resin products in the Solvents & Coatings Materials Division, including: UV cure resins, high solids vinyls, and low VOC acrylic resins.
