•Assisting manager in the preparation of monthly management accounts (Preparing profit & loss statements and balance sheet).•Preparing accounts up to trial balance.•Fixed asset register – maintain register on a monthly basis, ensuring all additions and monthly depreciation is accurate.•Maintain records of staff expenses payments, raising any issues where required.•Update and maintain accruals & prepayments on spreadsheets.

Temporary assignment on behalf of SF Group Recruitment Finance and Accountancy for the above client. The main task was to assist in the finalising of the year end accounts and to generally assist the accounts manager, duties included: - Allocation of housing benefit from local authorities to each individual tenant account.- Dealing with tenants enquiries in relation to their individual rent accounts.- Reconciling bank statements alongside cash book.- Investigate any odd entries on the finance system and ensure these were corrected by the relevant member of Finance.- Complete reconciliations, being able to challenge and solve any discrepancies found (purchase & Sales ledger)- Preparing and maintaining a cash book.
