I was also directing Insurance Distribution Management technology products.2007 - 2008Skywire Software is a leading, global vertical software company with 2,400 customers worldwide providing solutions to improve customer communications and generate new business. Was responsible for the product development of insurance technology products and services for multiple verticals (Life Insurance, P&C and Legal). Managed a staff of approximately 225 onshore and offshore professionals with locations including Missisauga Canada, Moncton New Brunswick, Leatherhead England, and New Zealand, who developed solutions in document automation, rating & underwriting, data exchange, and policy administration for insurance carriers and their distribution. Contributed to the increased profitability through improved efficiency, revenue growth and cost cutting.2005 - 2007Integrated Insurance Technologies Corporation (IIT) was a leading provider of software products and data exchange services to the insurance industry. Developed the largest Life Insurance data exchange hub “IDX”. The IDX processed over 1 million new business life insurance applications per year, and over $30 Billion Dollars of Annuity Premium. The Insurance Data Exchange “IDX” hub is now owned by Oracle Corporation and renamed “Oracle Insurance Data Exchange”. Managed 60 onshore and offshore software development resources with offices in Prague, Czech Republic and in Minsk, Belarus. Negotiated a contract with Avantica in Costa Rica to manage development teams for QuickView suite of SAAS products. Responsible for the P&L and the company’s operations.2004 - 2005Responsibilities included improving efficiencies on front office and back office systems for multiple distribution channels. Worked with all stakeholders from Business Operations to Sales to Information Technology through market research and process analysis, then recommended solutions for internal and external customers while achieving immediate ROI. As VP of Operations, created cost-savings through insurance technology.
