RI would have thought in the USA custom plant, but the headstock doesn't say "Made in USA" so maybe they're put together in Mexico. I played one for a few minutes and it seemed like a normal Tele to me - seems like a lot of $$$ for a spray paint job. I'd say, get a Standard and a $1.99 spray can.Addition: I looked at the back of the headstock - "Made in Mexico" so there you go.
