RTo date, only the first season of Everwood has been released on DVD. During an online with Warner Home Video representatives on June 6, 2006, the official response to several questions about the remaining seasons of Everwood was that the studio was not planning on releasing any additional seasons at this time. At the 2007 Warner Home Video chat, Warner Bros. aknowledged the demand for the remaining seasons of the show to be released, but said that the music costs are prohibitive. They continued to state that they are evaluating the option to release the show with music substitution but at this time they just don't know.Dedicated fans, after hearing of Everwood's last minute replacement by 7th Heaven, banded together, raised thousands of dollars and rented a ferris wheel for July 21, 2006; to show their immense gratitude and love to the cast and crew and the show. The event also was meant to draw attention to Everwood's big, loyal fanbase, and to possibly get Everwood seasons 2-4 out on DVD. The ferris wheel symbolized a significant part of Everwood: the growing relationship of two of the main characters Amy and Ephram. The event "Project: Save Everwood" took place at 3333 West Oak St., Burbank, California 91505 and infront of Dawn Ostroff's office, the hand behind Everwood's last minute replacement, as an attempt to save Everwood from being canceled. The time and placement was strategic, nearly equidistant from the Warner Brothers Home Video and The CW offices, and picked a date that coincided with The Television Critics Awards and Press Tour, to get more media exposure. All were invited, cast, crew, fans, CW and WB officials and more. Everwood Fans made a day out of it, appearing themselves along with actress Debra Mooney (Edna), and a letter of gratitude from Vivien Cardone (Delia). Despite efforts, the campaign failed; not for lack of trying. This was a stunt that will be hard to beat, and is by far the greatest, genuine gesture shown by any fanbase.
