Résumé général

Experience professionnelle

2012 - Courant
Managing Director & Partner - YJOO Communications Lausanne

Marketing and Advertising

2008 - Courant
Head of Corporate Communications - Kudelski Group

Information Technology and Services

As Head of Corporate Communications and spokesman of the Kudelski Group, my activities focus on media relations, internal communications, financial communications, issues management and a strong cooperation with the company's marketing managers. The range of activities cover Swiss and international topics, considering the geographical extension of the Group.

2005 - 2008
Head of Corporate Communications - Romande Energie

Utilities

As a member of the Management Committee of Romande Energie, I took part in strategic discussions and decisions of the fifth Swiss electricity company. We were actively preparing the basis for a successful entry into the soon to be deregularized Swiss electricity market. As Head of Corporate Communications and spokesman of the company, my activities focused on media relations, internal communications, public affairs, financial communications and a strong cooperation with the company's marketing managers on advertising, sponsoring and other corporate communications tools.

2004 - 2005
Director of Communications - 32nd America's Cup

Sports

At this position, I had the chance to manage a multi-cultural and multi-functional team of around 20 people active in media relations, Internet, branding, design, advertising, public relations, field promotions and publications. During this exciting year within one of the biggest international sports events, our communications strategy attracted more than 1 million visitors/spectators around Europe, during the 9 regattas we organized in 2004 and 2005 (Marseille, Valencia, Malmö and Trapani).

2001 - 2004
Director of Communications - BCV (Banque Cantonale Vaudoise)

Banking

BCV is the fifth Swiss bank, particularly active at the regional level and offering a wide range of banking services from Retail to Corporate banking, including Private Banking and Trading. As Communications Director, I had the chance to manage a team of around 30 people active in the fields of media relations, public relations, sponsoring, advertising (corporate and marketing), Internet, publications (corporate and marketing), public affairs and internal communications. I was also Spokesman and Issues Manager for the Bank, with a particular emphasis on these two functions during the difficult period the Bank suffered between 2001 and 2002.

1996 - 2001
Head of Public Affairs / Public Relations / Corporate Sponsoring - Nestle Switzerland

Consumer Goods

As Head of Public Relations, I had to manage the reputation of Nestlé Switzerland through a wide range of activities: media relations (as spokesman), public affairs, issues management, corporate sponsoring, corporate publications, Internet and internal communication. Two of the main projects I had to manage for Nestlé Switzerland were the sponsorship of the Fête des Vignerons in 1999 (intense cooperation with the Nestlé Brand Managers) and the GMO issue at the Swiss level (1996-1997).

1991 - 1996
Communications Consultant - Pielken & Partners SA

Public Relations and Communications

As a communications consultant within one of the top 3 french speaking Public Relations companies, I managed some of the key accounts of the agency covering several sectors: watchmaking industry, banking, electricity, construction, express courrier, among others. My tasks included strategic counselling (issues management, crisis communications, media relations, corporate positioning, internal commmunications, etc.), editorial tasks (publications, press releases, speeches, etc.) and events management.

1988 - 1991
Editor - Swiss Watch & Jewelry Journal

Publishing

As deputy of the Editor-in-chief of the major Swiss magazine focussing on the watchmaking and jewelry industry, I had the chance to interview the main leaders in this business and publish articles on design, marketing and economic issues related to this sector. I also had some business development responsibilities, for example handling the presence of the magazine in international Trade Shows (USA, Spain, Italy among others). The magazine was edited in French, English, German, Spanish and Japanese, which emphasizes its international distribution through the best watch and jewelry retailers.
