RI'm just spit-balling here...Two people in the bedroom. Low, sexy light. They're feeding each other strawberries, champagne, then she drizzles chocolate on his shirtless chest, he spreads peanut butter on her belly. *Needle scratch!* Her face crinkles in discomfort. He looks at the jar- the peanut butter is CHUNKY! He smiles apologetically... Title card: The course of true love never did run smooth... Voiceover: "Skippy extra crunchy: great for sandwiches, bad for love." No... not there yet...Let's see... An attractive young couple driving at night. They're smiling, laughing, gazing into each other's eyes... He mouths the words "I love you". Barry White plays in the background. Cut to another couple, dumpy and poorly dressed in a more run-down car. Bad country music plays as they argue loudly. We cut back and forth and can see that the dumpy-car guy is not paying good attention to the road (he's too wrapped up in the argument, you see). Suddenly, both couples see that their cars are careening toward each other! Both men stomp on the brakes. The pretty couple's car stops like the tires are made of glue (cut to close-up of beautiful, deep tire treads). The ugly people skid past them, out of control, their bald tires unable to even slow their momentum. The car slides off the road like it's on ice, and the couple screams as they blow through the side of a barn. Hay is everywhere. The ugly couple look at the damage, then each other for a moment in silence. After the shock wears off a bit... They start fighting again! The attractive couple look at each other, heave a sigh of relief, and drive off on their good tires. *The course of true love never did run smooth... is it time to change your tires? Michelin."Maybe a little better, I guess...Or how about:We see young, clean-shaven William Shakespeare (ruffle collar, doublet and hose, etc). He's in a tavern, trying to pick up women. He tries several lines (Shakespeare style), but the ladies aren't having it. He's frustrated. He heads home. He's brooding on the couch, when - DING - he has an idea! Title card: "One week later..." Cut to close-up of Norelco electric beard trimmer/razor, then to a sink where beard hair falls in, bunches at a time. Next shot, we see him walking, slow-mo style back into the same tavern, this time with his trademark"van dyke" style beard, and a healthy swagger. The ladies flock to him. He turns to camera: "The course of true love never did run smooth." *Norelco*BOOM! I'm a damned genius!

RI enjoyed that show for what it was - a silly action program. I don't see any reference to a new series or a film on WWW.IMDB.COMThought too many episodes ended the same way - Airwolf EASILY kicks another chopper/plane ass.

Rhe has a son called barry van dyke who stars with him in a tv show diagnosis murder.
