Biographie

Ironically enough, although I am shy, I am a people person. I have worked in the area of customer service since 1998 at my first job as a cashier at Winn Dixie. I know how to work with customers with both good and bad news. I know that certain situations sometimes arise and as a result, you can't always tell the customer what they want to hear because face it, that's life. However, I know how to smooth things over and end things on a positive note. My main goal is always to treat a customer they way that I would want to be treated.
Most people look at a degree in English as a worthless pursual. Yet, they fail to recognize the important skills that are used to obtain that degree. My degree in English gave me critical thinking skills, and highly valued both written and verbal communication skills. Combine this with my degree in Information Systems, and you have a person able to communicate effectively to customers in almost any medium.
According to the summary I am supposed to write a blurb about my goals. Right now one of my main goals is to one day go back to school and obtain that all important Master's degree. My most important goal at this current moment is to obtain employment in a fufilling position that I can use to further develop my skills for the benefit of myself and of the company.
