Pitch, write and produce daily reports for newscasts and station website. Extensive research for each story. Employed as an in-studio on-air tv traffic reporter for WTSP-TV's morning newscast. In addition to my role as on-air talent, I produced my own segments, crafting maps and delivering accurate real-time traffic information to viewers. I also served as the station's Traffic and Transportation reporter, writing, voicing and producing taped pieces (packages) on related-subjects.
Work with team of other producers and editors to disseminate accurate traffic information under tight deadlines to all five Philadelphia area morning television news crews. TV stations use our information, mapping systems and live cameras to deliver their own traffic segments. Fill-in traffic-producer in studio at CW morning newscast. Fill-in on-air traffic reporter for radio stations in Washington DC and New York City, as well a fill-in on-camera traffic reporter for NBC 10/WCAU-TV in Philadelphia.
Aid in screening talent resumes and reels for on-air tv traffic reporter opening. Train and audition potential on-air TV traffic talent. Contribute to quarterly newsletter, among other support duties.
