Fundraised $420,000 & managed a yearly fund of $92,000 for an educational program with 148 students. Interviewed, hired, trained & managed a staff of 10 teachers. Expanded school curriculum by including professional courses in hotel management, computer training, & social activities. Managed construction of the project’s Art School. Maintained communication among international staff located in offices in Austria & Brazil. Included citizens in project plans to better tailor the primary needs & concerns of the local community. Increased employment for local inhabitants as a result of our efforts to promote economic growth by empowering the local community with the skills it need within the tourism industry. Assisted educational forums in spearheading a local initiative creating a greener environment & joint action plan.
