Abdul Aziz joined ALDAR Properties in late 2007, and is now Integrated Technologies Manager, working under MEP Department. His responsibilities are: 1.To setup “Design Guidelines” – standards and specifications – for building systems which are applied across ALDAR's diverse property portfolio ranging from mixed-use, residential, commercial, retail, hospitality, theme parks, schools, hospitals, and public realm segments, and ensure the delivery of these standards and specifications: a.Integrated Intelligent Building Management Systems (iBMS) and Command & Control Centre (CCC)b.Structured Cabling Systems (SCS) c.Active IP Network (AIPN)d.Server Rooms / Data Centres (SR/DC)e.Home Automation Systems (HAS)f.Integrated Security Management Systems (iSMS)g.Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)h.Parking Management Systems (PMS)i.Lighting Control Systems (LCS)j.AV Systems (AV)2.To manage the “Smart City Project”:"ALDAR's Home & Community Lifestyle Automation", an Integrated Technology partnership which would run ALDAR's developments as smart communities, offering value-added technology services to our customers; tenants and visitors, and ALDAR’s real estate operations division.3.To manage the “Home Automation Upgrade Program” which is offered by ALDAR through back-to-back partnership with leading home automation solutions providers. Currently offered to selective Residential Communities. Abdul Aziz has also supervised the initiative of an “Estates Management Suite” - a fully integrated workplace management (IWMS/ERP) platform for ALDAR’s real estate operations division.
