Initially the position required the management of all software development work for a specific line of business (Financial Services). Because of the positive progress made in terms of the results emminating from these projects and processes, the remainder of software development, infrastructure implementation and project management duties were added to the position’s portfolio. Being a software development and general information technology centric business, projects required initiation that precedes the general understanding of SDLC. Elements that had to be addressed include feasability, requirements identification and research and development with regards to possible solution options.As of July 1, 2005, Websoft Maven Pty Ltd. was acquired by eQuals Group (Pty), Ltd. Websoft Maven Pty Ltd. provides back office administration software. The company is based in South Africa.
